TikTok Influencer Pressure 24/7 Gets Bail After Feud with Buganda Royalty 

Popular TikToker, Ibrahim Musana (known online as Pressure 24/7), finally walked free after securing bail on Monday, April 29th. 

Earlier this year, things got heated between Pressure 24/7 and the Buganda Kingdom in Uganda. The Kingdom took offense to videos posted by Musana, which they considered disrespectful towards the Kabaka (King) and other important figures. 

In February, the Kingdom officially complained to the authorities, accusing Musana of misusing social media and spreading hate speech. Musana was arrested and has been trying to get bail ever since. 

This time, the court approved his release with a strict warning. Musana had to pay a bail of Shs2 million and was told, in no uncertain terms, to stop posting offensive content online. If he breaks this rule, he’ll be sent right back to jail.
