Detained Fik Gaza in Saudi Arabia, Released After Fanfare

Musician-turned-politician Bobi Wine joined the call for Fik Gaza’s release, using the hashtag #freefikgaza on social media. He also mentioned efforts to gather information about the arrest.
“I’ve learnt of the detention of this brother and artiste Fik Gaza in Saudi Arabia- something that has happened to so many African and indeed Ugandan artists in the past. Although details are still scanty, our teams both here and in Saudi Arabia are trying to establish the facts so that we collectively assist him out of this situation.” Bobi Wine posted on his X account.
“I highly appreciate Mr. President @HEBobiwine for the one love he has really shown me my the almighty bless you abundantly” Fik Gaza posted.
