Gravity Omutujju: No Kneeling for Bobi Wine or Anyone Else!
Gravity Omutujju is known for being a straight shooter. He’s always been blunt, and doesn’t back down from what he says. Lately, there’s been a lot of big egos in the Ugandan music scene. Some musicians, like Sheebah Karungi, Spice Diana, and even Bobi Wine, seem to think they’re untouchable.
A bunch of musicians are whispering that Bobi Wine gets special treatment, like everyone asks him for help and his concerts are guaranteed hits because of his political party. They say some musicians are just clinging to Bobi Wine for success. They point to Big Eye Starboss – when he stopped supporting Bobi Wine, he got shut out, but then became popular again when he switched back.
Apparently, this is called the “masanyalaze” – a bad luck spell you get for leaving Bobi Wine’s side. Gravity Omutujju found this out the hard way. He spoke out against Bobi Wine and his career suffered. But Gravity doesn’t care. He sticks to his guns, even with all the hate.
Now, Gravity says there’s no way he’d ever kneel before another musician. He thinks everyone deserves respect, and nobody should act like a big shot. Gravity believes the only person anyone should kneel for is God. He hates seeing musicians kneel before each other.
Basically, Gravity thinks these musicians need to get over themselves and treat each other with respect. There’s no room for arrogance in music, only good vibes (and maybe kneeling for God, if that’s your thing).
