Erias Lukwago Seeks Surgery in India for Painful Spinal Condition.

Kampala’s City Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago, is off to India for a surgery that sounds serious. He recently revealed on social media that he’s been battling a bulging disc in his neck for over two months, causing him a ton of pain that shoots down his back and arm. 

This isn’t something doctors back home could fix easily, so Lukwago is heading to New Delhi for a specialized surgery called Anterior Cervical Disc and Fusion. It sounds complicated, but basically, they’re going to take out the problem disc and fuse the vertebrae to mitigate the pain. 

Here’s hoping the surgery goes smoothly and Lukwago gets some relief from that nasty pain!
